Getting started

Introduction

Acun UI is a ready-made interface kit for people who build admin panels and business applications with Laravel.

What is Acun UI?

It gathers the layout, menu, form, table and notification pieces that get rewritten in every project into a single, consistent, accessible set. Its components are styled with Tailwind CSS 4, get their interactivity from Alpine.js and connect to the server through Livewire 4. You write your pages in Blade:

<acun:card title="Welcome">
    <acun:button>Get started</acun:button>
</acun:card>

Who is it for?

For developers and teams who know Laravel at a basic level and build an admin panel, a customer portal or an internal tool. For anyone who wants to move fast with ready-made pieces instead of designing an interface from scratch.

What's in the box?

  • Theme: the zip you buy contains two ready Laravel applications: the full version with every demo page, and the starter kit for a clean start.
  • Layouts: vertical (side menu) and horizontal panel layouts, two layouts for sign-in and registration pages, and message pages such as 404 · 403 · maintenance.
  • Menu and search: a menu rendered from a single JSON file. The mobile drawer and the ⌘K command palette search come from the same definition.
  • Components: button, form fields, card, table, modal, drawer, notification, avatar, tabs, chart, map and more, all named acun:*.
  • List pages: WithListing, which provides search, sorting, filters, pagination and bulk selection out of the box, and the class-based DataTable.
  • Forms: unsaved-changes protection, automatic display of validation errors, form modal and action bar.
  • Appearance: light and dark mode, a primary color you change with a single variable, a bordered look, a dark menu, and an appearance panel that remembers the user's preferences.
  • Turkish: Turkish interface texts and a search that matches Turkish characters correctly (typing "ayse" finds "Ayşe").

For live examples of the components, see the All components page.

Free and PRO

Acun UI consists of three packages, all shipped in the theme's zip in the packages/acun-ui/ folder:

Package Contains
@acunsoft/acun-ui-core The theme layer (CSS) and the core JavaScript; it doesn't depend on Laravel
acunsoft/acun-ui-free The free Blade components: layouts, menus including the JSON menu, basic cards, standard UI components, basic form fields and table
acunsoft/acun-ui-pro PRO: advanced UI components and form fields, DataTable, list pages, form modal, chart, map; with their own CSS and JavaScript

Components marked PRO in the documentation menu and in the header of their component pages are in the PRO package. PRO isn't sold separately; it comes with Acunsoft themes. Component names follow the same pattern in both packages. The inside of the packages is described on the Folder structure page.
