This page summarizes which theme license fits you and what you can do with it.

Acun UI is free: @acunsoft/acun-ui-core and acunsoft/acun-ui-free are MIT-licensed and can be used in any personal or commercial project. PRO components (acunsoft/acun-ui-pro) aren't sold separately. They come with Acunsoft themes and are used under the theme's license. The binding text is the LICENSE.md file that comes with the theme.

Which license fits you?

Each theme is sold as a separate product with four license options; prices vary by theme. Two questions determine which license you need: how many projects will you use the theme in, and will end users pay?

Using more than one theme with a single license is possible only with the Unlimited Use license.

License types

• PACKAGE-1 · Single Use: 1 theme can be used in 1 project (end users cannot be charged).
• PACKAGE-2 · Multiple Use: 1 product can be used in unlimited projects (end users cannot be charged).
• PACKAGE-3 · Extended Use: 1 theme can be used in 1 project (end users can be charged, including SaaS).
• PACKAGE-4 · Unlimited Use: All products (Themes) can be used in unlimited projects (end users can be charged, including SaaS).

Terms in the table:

• Number of themes (products): The number of themes you can use with the license. Unlimited Use covers all Acunsoft themes; the other licenses cover only the purchased theme.
• Projects: The number of projects you can use the theme in. Each project is a single website, web application or piece of software.
• End user: A person who uses the project. Their number isn't limited under any license.
• Use in SaaS: Use in projects where end users are charged: subscription, membership, sales.

All licenses are a one-time payment and perpetual. The period limits only Premium Support and Free Updates; when it ends, you keep using the theme.

What you can do with any license

• Modify the theme and the PRO components in it as you like and make them part of your own project
• Develop projects for your clients and charge for that service
• Offer your product under your own brand (no attribution to Acun UI required)
• Show the project you built in your portfolio

What you can't do with any license

• Sell, distribute, or share the theme, the PRO components, or any part of them on their own, even if modified
• Put the source code in a public repository or give it to someone who doesn't have a license
• Share the license key or the repository access credentials
• Build a competing product with the theme or the PRO components: a UI kit, component library, theme, template, design file, starter kit, or code generator
• Use a Single Use or Extended Use license in more than one project or for more than one client

Updates

During the update period, you can install every new version that is released, and you receive support. When the period ends, you keep using the versions released up to that date indefinitely. You can renew the period to get new versions.

Frequently asked questions

I'm a freelancer; do I need a separate license for each client?

Yes, the Single Use and Extended Use licenses are for a single project. If you build many client projects, the Multiple Use license (projects where end users aren't charged) or the Unlimited Use license is a better fit.

I'm building a SaaS where my users pay a subscription.

Because end users are charged, you need the Extended Use license (one SaaS) or the Unlimited Use license (more than one SaaS).

I'm building an internal admin panel; users don't pay.

A Single Use license is enough for one panel; for more than one panel, Multiple Use.

Can I use the free version in a commercial project?

Yes. The free packages are MIT-licensed; you only need to keep the copyright notice in the source files.

My project is open source; can I use the theme?

The source code of the theme and the PRO components can't be placed in a public repository. In open-source projects, use the free Acun UI packages. Or keep the theme files out of the repository and set up the project so that the license holder performs the installation.

Can I use more than one theme with one license?

Only with the Unlimited Use license, which covers all themes. The other licenses are only for the theme you purchased; for another theme, buy that theme's license.

Do you offer refunds?

Themes are digital products; no refunds are given once a theme has been downloaded. You confirm this when you purchase. For an order that hasn't been downloaded yet, you can contact us.

If you purchased from another platform

If you bought the theme from a marketplace or a reseller, that platform's license terms apply. Read the platform's terms before you purchase.
